SOFIA SEGURA

Sofia began dancing Mexican Folklórico at the age of five with México Danza, where she developed a deep passion for dance and Mexican culture. While in college, she auditioned for Ballet Folklórico de México and was accepted into the company in 2019. During her time with the company, Sofia performed as a soloist and had the opportunity to complete two tours across the United States. She continued performing with Ballet Folklórico de México until 2023, when she stepped away from professional dance to focus on her career as a behavior analyst. Her years as a performer remain an important part of her connection to Mexican culture and her love for Folklórico.
